Practice Manager
Sam Sargent
Sam is new to the veterinary world, bringing with her a background in training and production. She is a lifelong learner at heart, and loves gaining new knowledge everyday. She enjoys the challenges that come with exploring a new industry.
In December of 2024 Sam relocated from Colorado to Washington, where she lives on the farm with her family. She is an animal lover and loves welcoming all the new additions to the farm, but has a particular fondness for cats. She currently shares her home with 2 beautiful cats, Chubbs and Lacy (and plans on getting more).
One of Sam’s favorite parts of her job is the opportunity to interact with a wide variety of animals each day. Outside of work, she enjoys reading and spending time with her sister and nieces.

Junie has been an animal person ever since she was young, growing up in Thailand with a myriad of pets of different species. She graduated from National Taiwan University with a pharmacy degree but decided to pursue a career path more closely related to her love for animals. After obtaining a veterinary technician degree in Los Angeles, Junie moved to New York City and worked in a specialty veterinary hospital for 4 years. She moved to Mount Vernon in 2015 and has now been with us for 10 years. She has special interests in urgent care & care for senior dogs.
At home, Junie and her partner share their lives with an elderly Miniature Schnauzer. She enjoys traveling, hiking, reading, painting, and exploring different restaurants and cuisines.
