One of the most important aspects of your pets health is oral health. Maintaining and preventing oral disease is critical to ensure you have a healthy and pain free pet. We will evaluate your pets teeth at every exam and recommend care based on the health of the teeth.

Periodontal disease is the most common dental condition in dogs and cats – by the time your pet is 3 years old, he or she will very likely have some evidence of periodontal disease. Early detection and treatment are critical, because advanced periodontal disease can cause severe problems and pain for your pet. The treatment of periodontal disease is a multi step process. We start with full mouth dental x-rays and probing of the teeth. Based on this information we develop a comprehensive treatment plan which can include extraction of diseased teeth, bonded sealants and referral to a board certified veterinary dentist.
